looks like a VERY realistic painting I loved it :s but I couldnt tell how did you do this in illustrator
I dont know, the textures, the feeling its something I hadnt seen in anything done in illustrator

I did it using groups of simple shapes, the smooth look is achieved by varying slightly in color and opacity. If you liked this one, you should look at ~xelene 's gallery, her style and technique is amazing =]
