it was the first series I saw with jun in it, though.

I know where it comes from and I'd rather not mess with that -.- I believe that a person's spirit is like the flame of a candle. when you blow it, it's gone. so I don't think that paranormal phenomena have to do with ghosts. I do, however believe in demons. and demons are per definition evil. so I'd rather stay away from that stuff.

*nod nod* we have the same believe, it's the same in our religion, and in our Holy Book it's mentioned that such acts are performed by Demons.
xD And FOR SURE I so want to stay away from them *flail* I just like to read scary stories and do researches, they have many kinds and types, each type and kind have unique specialties and features and- *kicks DMC for getting me interested in them* @w@#
God, in this country, they have a lot of Magicians that deals with demons, it's damn creepy, e.x||| I already hate that sort of stuff and now I'm stuck living around such creepy people.. ,*oo*, two more months, and We're so getting the hell out of here xOOx .. if the Owner fixes the cards.. *depress depress* TooT|||

well, liking ghost stories is not really related to the actual thing, but some stories are a little too fishy for me. actually, the moment they rip the bible out of it's logics, I'm on edge. you know, like how Maria quoted psalms over the witch circle that was drawn in umineko. it was very shortly in zombie loan, but not long and significant enough to stop watching. but that just really gives me nasty feelings. to abuse the letters of our dear god to spread such occult lies is just sickening. it really feels wrong to me.
and the nasty thing is.. the worse a horror is, the more they make use of that technique.

the nasty thing is that some horror writers, and then I mean the really good ones, are into occultism themselves. you know, DC was playing music on the background of our phonecall and I jolted straight up and yeled 'umineko!' at a certain song. it seemed that the newest game she likes a lot, Artenelico (or something along the lines), has the same music artist. DC told me that there were some fishy things in that game too and that there was another occult series where she dd the music of too. I've pretty much concluded from that that that artist is searching for those types herself.
I don't trust the people exorsiting demons, either. they have fishy powers to do so, too.

hikaru no go is also... a tiny bit occult xD it's about a boy named Hikaru [link] who finds an old Go board in the attic of his grandpa. he then hears a voice of someone and sees a spirit of a person from the heian period. the spirit tells him that he had waited a 1000 years for someone to hear him, so he could use that person's mind to once more play Go. he was a Go teacher at the emperial court, but was banished after being accused of cheating and had comitted suicide. So no he had nestled in Hikaru's mind to once more play. Hikaru is not very interested at first, but since Sai the spirit, yes, it's a guy turns out quite handy with history homework, he promises Sai to go and play Go from time to time, in return for homework help. Hikaru goes to a Go salon as promised, but only sees old people playing. then, he sees that there's 1 boy of his own age, alone, in the corner. he asks the boy if he wants to play and the boy, introducing himself as Touya Akira he's a little like yukimura , agrees. what Hikaru doesn't know is that Akira is at pro level. But with the help of Sai, he defeats Akira. Akira is panicked when Hikaru tells him that this is the first time he plays. before akira knows, hikaru's already gone again, though. from that day, Akira sees Hikaru as his true rival. but as Hikaru plays Go more and more, he starts to like it and wants to play it himself, in stead of Sai. when Akira challenges Hikaru once more, Hikaru declines (since he wants to wait until he can defeat him with his own playing) and tells Akira that he wants to join the school tournament instead. Akira, dispite knowing that a pro in a school team will cause major troubles, joins his own school's team, knowing they'll meet in the school tournament that way.
