I think I'll just go with the 'getting into character' interpretation.

While I'm not a major fan of mind change, this is actually quite awesome. The way it is presented, I can see them moreso getting into character, rather than having their mind's altered. I've noticed that you tend to somewhat leave things such as this in your art open to interpretation, and I personally think that rocks. ^_^ A lovely TF/TG that can be narrated yourself.
