The latest edition on the Gijón (Asturias; Spain) international air-show was poorer than previous years in that not only was the amount of participants cut short to about half the average (just some 9 participants this year) but also, because of crisis recession and the pressure from certain sector of the society and the city council (opposed to this kind of events) about 95% of them were civilian, while military stuff was reduced to the minimum.

Despite all, the organizers managed and succeeded on making something decent and acceptable, considering all the restrictions mentioned.

We had two sessions: Saturday evening and Sunday midday, to which I could add my been so fortunate of having caught on tape some of the participants taking off from the airfield nearby.
