Concept art for the Magellan spacecraft, commissioned by NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) 1982

This was the second professional illustration I did for this project (the first is in this gallery) and, referred to from the previous post (Constellation record label) as part of the "free" class I got from a compromise settlement from Art Center College of Design.

The art shows the trajectory of the probe over Venus, and the broadcasting of the data found there, back to Earth.
