Context:
My collage drawings began as a way to express myself in my teen years during a time of sadness and loneliness. I began drawing them in early 2008 after moving schools in 2007 at the middle of 8th grade right before graduation. Needless to say, I graduated middle school without knowing anyone and went to a high school that at the time I did not like for quite some time.

Around this time I started spending a lot of time on Animal Crossing: Wild World and also slowly made new friends irl 🙂

Content:
A majority of the writings found in these drawings typically come from song lyrics and sometimes quotes I make up myself. At times they are also names of interesting subject matter. Admittedly they are filled with a lot of teen angst and weird things.
