After she dumped Drew, May was determined to find Ash. She didn't know it, but she would bump into him quite soon! She and Ash met in the hall after the Kanto Pokemon Trainer's final class of the day in Pokemon school. Ash was surprised to find May there!"Why did you come here?" Ash asked.
May explained that she wanted to find Ash and maybe date and or marry him.
"Do you LOVE ME?!!?" Ash asked in disbelief.
"Yup!" May replied.
"I love you, too!" Ash replied, throwing May a hug. That night, Ash and May were dressed like they were when they spent a brief Indian summer with each other in the Wallace Cup League in Sinnoh five years prior to Alola. Lana invited them over to say "hi" to Mallow, Lillie, and Kiawe.
"Ash, is May your boyfriend?" asked Lana's mother, "you two look great together!"
"Yes he is!" replied May, "I always love my Ash!"
"Me, too!" replied Ash, "May has always been funny, sweet, and cute, too!"
May blushed and giggled as the two hugged yet again!
