Description In my class studies, we did some sessions on different drawing/shading techquies. This drawing isn't related to my course. I did an experiment with cross-hatching and imaginative geometry.

I wanted to draw a "Thunder Lance" from the Axolotl-Realms and put some lore in it with MS Paint editing.

Tools of use: Paper drawing pad, pencel and pigment liner pens.

Extra lore stuff:

Thunder Lances were introduced before the Ardent, but were rapidly constructed and perfected.

A Circitran-Type has the greatest range of any Lance, and can hit with incredible force. Reloading, maintaining and logistics come before the trigger, which is why targeting data is one of the most vital assets needed for the firing. The massive guns can not afford to miss; this brings up the use of recon skyship pickets that go out into the field, sometimes behind enemy lines, and report back with target infomation. The technology for raidos has yet to be pefected, so messgenger units and spies are deployed - a very dangerous career that could end in a resault of saboltage by rivals who messed with the targeting data.

Most Thunder Lances haven’t shot in over a century. Most acting as museums, trophies, harbours or battle-platforms. The Hard-Shells used are typically expensive to manufacture and alternatives can be high-risk. Theres a reason why the Realms has not descended into a massive hyper slugfest. As the centuries tugged on, new Thunder Lance types were built, focusing on effectiveness and efficiency.

The first Thunder Lances were built before the Ardent, lacking predictablity. Historians and other groups argued that their original creation was either preluded to the Ten-Day-War or launched in an armsrace against rival empires. The Ten-Day-War, was a prologned stragical bombardment, commissioned in 033 Elysian Calendar, by the first Emperor Garon-Tsol I. It saw to the downing of a grave fawna-threat; it's intensity, perpetually exaggerated and romanticised in popular retellings across generations.
