A bit of a belated birthday present to myself commissioned form the incalculably talented DStevensArt www.deviantart.com/dstevensart

Ive wanted to have a 'intimate' moment (get your minds out of the gutter, yes i know the name of the web sight but have some class) drawn for Laura Kinney and her 'little' clone/sister Gabby for a long time now and I couldn't be happier with how this turned out.

I believe i was inspired by some cover/ gallery art in one of latter all new wolverine books, though which volume escapes me at the moment. The cover depicted Laura and Gabby having fallen asleep on a couch in their home after a long day of presumably heroic endeavors. And seeing two characters that are well known for the torments laid upon them at peace is touching

I certain hope Laura and Gabby are reunited soon, though i am not really found of the krakoa era of xmen so i'm not sure how much i want them to be involved in that creep fest before it blows up in everyone's faces. But regardless, this is some wonderful art for two characters i adore i hope you all appreciate, oh and Johnathan is there as well.

The Largest one Depicts Laura, Gabby their half brother Daken, Johnathan the wolverine, Deborah and Megan Kinney in a nice big family photo.

Next to it is a magazine cover of Laura and Gabby's mother Sarah

Next to that is a Picture of Logan and Laura when Laura was younger

and lastly a small picture of some of the members of the new xmen form the child hoods end era. if You look very closely you can pick out, Rock slide, Pixie, Hellion, Surge and Laura. While this isn't the whole them, lets face it that team was massive and i may one day have a picture dawn of those i consider to be Laura's team mates in that era.

Call me snob if you must but i feel this is perhaps the only team Laura has really gelled with. the two iterations of the all new xmen team where most of the team was made up of the time displayed young xmen and later Laura and a few others. were more concerned with the time/dimensions shenanigans of most of the team being talking time paradox's no one at marvel seemed to know what do with. I do have a soft spot for the avengers academy days and i do feel that team dig gel with Laura but her association with that team was very brief and not many people eater recall it or count it.

again one day i might get someone to draw Laura with that team but i'm in no rush for that

and ive yet to meet anyone that liked wolverines
