this art depicts a design myself and my good friend www.deviantart.com/imaxwebber came up for our take of Laura"s first Wolverine costume she would ware once being having earned to reigns of Wolverine at the age of twenty in our shared fan fiction and fan art universe Heros of the new age.

the heroes of New age version of Laura differs from her 616 self in a number of ways

Firstly we have elected to make her Half Hispanic, drawing inspiration from Laura's first incarnation, in fan favorite xmen cartoon X-men evolution. which depicted Laura with darker skin and some Hispanic features

secondly Laura's mother Sarah Kinney survives her employment at falsity and features as a prominent feature in Laura's life through out her teenage years and into adult hood.

though my friend imax has insistent that, she not be related to Laura in a biological fashion. rather that her and Laura's story and relationship be the inverse of that of Doctor Frankenstein and his famous monster. were Sarah our victor Frankenstein analog would fall in love with her creation and adopt her.

while im not against the idea of Laura and her mother having longer to live with each outher and Sarah to take more of an active and drawn out role in her rearing. and while im equally supportive of adoption

i must confess some confussion at the loops we will have to jump through in order to justife, Both Sarha and Laura sharing so many features, Sarah creating and caring for Laura in all ways but not have them biologically realted. that Laura's Hispanic features are due to some irrelevant third party

after all even in 616 cannon, despite Laura and Logan begin related and considering each other as daughter and father respectively . he still adopted her but now my ive had my customarily pitiful mewling

i should mention that in our fan fiction Laura walked a slightly diffrent path than her 616 self, while she was created and operated at the behest of the Facility or many years. towards the end of her association she was lent out to the sinster six and would fight the latest spider man Miles Morales. (whom she is a contemporaneity off )

Sarah would use this opportunity to aline herself with the young web swinging hero and together they freed Laura From the facility, alerting shield to their presence and many of their pawns.

The facility would retreat to lick its wounds while laura and Sarah could being to create a genenue family with each other and heal from the years of trauma that had being inflicted on them both

Burded by a desire to redeme herself and a great deal of guilt, Laura would begin her own heroic career, frequently partnering with Miles as well of a number of other young heros

with in HOTNA Laura was a founded member of the young super hero team, the champions. Along side Kamala khan's Miss Marvel, Miles Morales spider man, Sam Alexanders Nova, Riri Williams Iron heart, Vivian Vision and lastly Lana Baumgartner's Bombshell

Laura would as she grew into her teenage years split her time between the champions and the xmen, favouring the xmen more and more as she aged though she remained a ally of the team even after her tenure ended

during her lengthy tentue with the xmen she would, reject her largely X23 identity and code name and take on the code name Talon in its steed until her 'father' 'passed' the title of Wolvine onto Laura shortly before she turned twenty after she assisted in curing him of the adamantium poisoning that had being slowly killing him. returning some of his legendary vigger

despite his extension on life and invigoration, Logan felt that his time as wolverine had come t o an end and of all his potential heirs Laura was most suited to become the wolverine the world would need in the decides to come.

before that however, Laura would in her teenage years be asoacted with the "pargon's' training team before being earning a spot on the New xmen team team which was made up of the finalist of the best each xmen academy team had to offer.

the new xmen team would consistent of along side Laura as the main xmen team (Sooraya Qadir dust) Jullian Kellier hellion( David Alleyne Prodigy) Cessily Kincaid mercury, (Noriko Ashida Surge) Joshua "Josh" Foley elixir, ( santo Vaccarro rock)

Evan Sabahnur , Geneis Megan Gwynn Pixxie and several others would runners up would be suport staff for the premuire team
