Description
The DV-200/C Hyperion. Officially known as the DV-200/C Anti-Aircraft/Gatling Hyperion Variable Command Carrier, but more commonly called the DVC. Built on the primary hull of the DV-200 and utilizing the same basic turret housing as the DVB, the DVC is a robust vehicle designed to provide anti-aircraft support as well as logistics and transportation for UDI personnel in the field.

Armed with two GAU-20 40 MM Gatling Guns it is more than capable of ripping massive holes in all but the most heavily armored air craft at extreme ranges. Powered by the Hyperion's secondary Plasma Battery it can operate independent of the units main power system, allowing it to continue operating as a weapon emplacement even if the main power unit has been damaged.

The two guns are both Air and Liquid cooled using a constantly flowing supply of liquid nitrogen in a pump system designed to withstand massive temperature shifts. This allows the primary firing mechanisms to operate for extreme periods of time without overheating. At the same time towards the fore of the turret fans allow air to flow into the unit to assist in keeping the system cool.
