I wanted to create a mandala that is abstract and has simple designs and shapes to make it look more appealing and child-friendly, which feels appropriate given how it has subjects that are part of my childhood, including paint, smiley faces, rainbow infinity signs, golden puzzle pieces, swimming fish, pizza and grapes. As for the stars, I wanted them to represent how I try to reach for my dreams of being a cartoon artist.
