Description
In my Kingdom Hearts Phi setting Vanitas as a being of darkness has a slightly mutable form based on a couple different factors. In this picture I was testing the waters on drawing him manifesting his wings for the first time. I wanted them to be like a sea creature's mantle or the wings of a newly hatched butterfly or mayfly, ephemera, and gossamer but also alien and a bit off putting.
