Esmeralda: I was born in the Slums or Eastern Europe and snuck into Paris. My people are kinda discriminated against due to our culture and lifestyle...Rumor has it my people actually got lost, coming from the far Indus...Our language may share some similarities to where we came from.
Jasmine: So in a way you're an East Indian Princess?
Esmeralda: Ehhh...Kinda, Don't feel like a princess or might not be remembered as one. Princesses have love interests, adventure, and a happy ending. I feel more like a criminal....No one around here likes our people, many of us are poor and some can be criminals but not everyone.
Jasmine: Awww.. don't say that. I like you 
Esmeralda: Thanks, you showed me that somewhere far away people who look like me are nobility and aren't always poor and hated. You're beautiful as well.
