I got my information from The Tron Art book with the designs and notes from the creators and studio on the new colors and rank system

the color theme is way dif in TRON:Legacy than the old one

I dont much follow the internet Fan based color codes because they are incorrect,

like the old movie itself is a tad off they switch the colors alot

Yeah, purple was a brief color that was supposed to embody love [Yori was purple briefly when she realized her feelings], or showed up when a character switched from red to blue. Pink was data-pushers.

yep then they went with the more computer tones the base colors and purple is very muted on screen and not very well. . .tech like you could say purple is very dull along with pink.

Now if they open the system up again I think the colors would come back but since the new Tron was closed Grid they were isolated . . . of course Castor is another story XD
