Lonely Only raised only to love walking outdoors because I was raised to have many indoor hobbies (very contradictory in interests). I swam so I reeked of chlorine and being clean than getting dirty. It's not that we didn't have a yard but I grew up in an old people neighborhood so I was a "nice and pleasent young lady." A-nd, my parents wer afraid someone was going to kidnap me for reasons I still don't know. We don't live in the bad part of town...

One lives across the street from me. I used him as the topic for a speech I had to do for a scholarship. All the judges told me after the presentation of the other speeches and the announcement of the places (there were only five of us) that they liked my speech the best.
Of course, I su** at public speaking so I got fourth but apparently it was a good speech and I was glad my neighbor was able to attend. He's been on oxygen for about five years now so it was questionable as to whether he was coming or not.
I forget what my dad is a vet of...probably the Gulf. He just turned 47 the day before yesterday. It kind of stinks because there are years where his birthday lands on father's day as well.
Which reminds me, Happy Father's day. I hope you and your dad did something fun. Mine is being the "guardian" of my friend for her orientation (she's 20 so it's kind of "I'm here to support when needed") to transfer into the same college as me so I spend father's day with my mom.
