Description
The concept behind this piece is to be drawn in by what appears to be a beautiful forest scene surrounding a glowing crystal, but once you take a moment to analyse the scene you start to notice that the flowers are actually fungi and lichen, and the trees are hollow and twisted, as though a corruption is emitting from the crystal, causing the forest to decay from within. Created using photobashing and digital art, all photos used were my own.
