Description
This is a drawing of the AFM( Atomic Force Microscope) tip (cantilever) scanning the gold surface.

This is still work in progress, but this was the first render , I was more or less happy with.

AFM tip basically moves the tip ,like old record player, across the surface and monitors interaction with atoms.

Done in Blender and GIMP.
