The third member of the team to appear is Ryusei Kanda, who is the male counterpart of Mint Aizawa/Corina Bucksworth and is infused with the DNA of a Komodo dragon.
He is a quiet seventeen-year-old boy, a little clumsy in his studies, funny, athletic, enthusiastic, confident and agile in sports, who is always ready to accept any challenge that comes his way, as well as having a very good sense of smell developed.
He appears in the third chapter of the manga when he saves Anzu from a Chimera Animal and instinctively, he becomes Mew Ryusei and helps Mew Aoi and Mew Shizuka defeat the Chimera Animal and officially joins the team, helping the other two guys to find the other two team members to finally form the Tokyo Mew Mew Olé team!
