Cosplays should be rated on their accuracy. The lack of an appropriate wand lowers it's accuracy.guys! Need your help

Come on, you'll never be like Bellatrix just with costume. The thing is not in clothes, it can be anything: from high-quality cosplay costumes (like this one) to just some tatters. But the feature that will make you like Bellatrix is your facial expressions, your behavior, your moves, your emotions, your reaction. And here's the problem. On these pictures you look like a dreamer, not crazy, not insane. I believe that once you start being mad, you will be true Bellatrix. Good luck with it. Puzzler.

I think its done really well. I guess the only kind of advice to give you is make your skin that's visible paler. I think of Bellatrix a very sickly and crazed woman. Besides that your dead on. Awesome job!

I think it looks good! its like her, you can get lens that have a sparkle to get the glint she has but that's optional!

Epic Cosplay. The clothing itself is very accurate so your set there. The wand obviously but that can be stated as "She snuck away with the elder wand" If your willing to go really into it. Dye your hair black with very thin white streaks. Some lightly stained and semi crooked false teeth as well. No need to do all of that as it is perfect the way it is though.

If by character you mean matching the "personality", perhaps having your eyes open (like injected with bear adrenaline open) would definitely land you Lestrange.

Hmm. Honestly, darker make up would do the trick. The hair is a throw off from the look if you really look at it. Needs to be more messy, more greasier looking and all that. Besides that, it's completely beautiful.

Great, just get some darker eyeshadow and messier hair to look crazier and you should be set.

You should also make the makeup really deep, and dark around her eyes, make her have high, sharp cheekbones

Just some food for thought: Whoever told you that accuracy and lack of a particular detail lowers how good cosplay is, is completely wrong. You look amazing, and I wouldn't have given a second thought to the wand. You're setting yourself up for failure if you think like that. Besides, I've seen plenty of great cosplay that had a detail wrong or were missing something but the person still looks AWESOME.

I really appreciate your cosplay here because you geniunely look like the character; your not just dressed in the attire. Even without key accessories or dress, anyone could look at this and realize who it is just by face alone. Whether you be a makeup guru or just look like the actor, I say.well done.

You definitely have a creepy goth-vibe going.
*Her necklace is a little golden bird skull. (You can see it clearly in this photo: images2.fanpop.com/image/photo… .) You can get some that would work for pretty cheap off Etsy (www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=… ).
*Her hair is more lop-sided. It's tall on the right side of her face, then slopes off on the left side of her face.
*In this photo you also look a little bit too calm. Remember, she is mentally unstable and looks down on other people. Work on getting a good sneer and a sinister look in your eyes.
*She also has a tattoo on the left side of her neck, which I believe is her serial number from Azkaban (3.bp.blogspot.com/-5XieC4Shtgo… ). If you were able to reproduce that, I think you would get major bonus points.
