OKAY! I finally made up my mind on what rifles he should have. Both of them even happen to be Canadian! The main one is a modified Ross rifle. Despite their problems, it excelled at accuracy. It also used the first ammo to exceed 3000 ft/s (914 m/s). However, his has been modified to be a single shot, removing part of the problem with jamming. To make up for this, I decided to have a separate second gun to go with this. That is, unless he isn't using scopes. It attaches under the Ross rifle, like those under-barrel grenade launchers and similar. Also allows me to still have a sort of "combination gun". This makes it much quicker to use; it is right at hand and don't need to swap. It is a semi-auto Savage or Cooey 64. It sort of functions like a pistol-rifle; less powerful, but decently fast and accurate. Whether it is together or separate with their scopes on, the idea is to use the bolt-action first, to either take out or weaken the target, followed by the semi-auto to finish off the target or take care of nearby attackers that found you. Speaking of scopes, it also makes more sense for having the two scope types. The Cooey 64 was originally a .22 LR, but I imagine Zack is capable of converting it to something with a little more penetration power, such as a special 22 magnum, the common 9mm or some other small but effective rounds. Both of the rifles have custom frames/stocks. The Cooey folds both the stock and barrel when separate from the rifle & the scopes are attached. The past ideas just didn't hold my attention, but these do, with the way they function and look.
(The Ross rifle is a combination of various real frames and some parts I imagined. The Cooey is based on a real "tactical" frame for it, but with a different folding stock and barrel.)

Zack, the Native Canadian with a conflicting personality. On one side, he is a calm, laid-back man that enjoys water-based activities and with a preference towards safety, in spite of the other side of his personality being a firearms expert. A gun nut, as some may say. In fact, he put so much skill into it, he is noticeably less proficient at melee. Therefore, two of his choices have a ranged option. Going with the water interest, he also likes the outdoors. Additionally, he is also a surprisingly good actor, making him a natural for disguising and imitating. On top of noticing safety hazards, he can also figure out when others are acting. He might be highly interested in water, firearms and is generally laidback, but he doesn't let safety take a break.
