Description
The phoenix is truly a unique bird- there is only one in the world at any given time. When it is five hundred years of age, it gathers up twigs from cinnamon and frankincense trees and creates a fragrant nest. The first rays of the rising sun ignite both nest and bird, and the phoenix burns to ashes. In three days time, the phoenix is born again from the ashes and flies off into the wilderness.
Third in my bestiary series- the phoenix! Had a lot of fun with this one.
