The wolf is a sneaky and cunning creature that hunts its prey at night. When the wolf is stalking and makes an unintended noise, it bites the offending foot for having betrayed it. If a wolf spies a man before the man sees it, the man will lose his powers of speech. However, if a man spots a wolf before the wolf sees him, all the fierceness goes out of the wolf and it becomes tame

Another entry in the bestiary series! This one was a lot of fun to work on. Oh, and this is the first “real” animal so far; I’ve had a strong desire to explore wolves lately.
