In his hunger for power, Zero Star (chosen name for my personal MOC ) dove down into the deep dark sea in order to meet the makuta Chiriko . This is the reult of their meeting. Zero Star absorbed Chiriko and became Deep Star.The creation:
As the text above says: I took Chiriko apart in order to create this one. I basically did that because I got some new glowing parts and I tought I could create something better than Chiriko, so I started from the scratch again.
And to sum that up:
I used four Takadox heads, two Gadunka heads, one Nocturn head, thirteen glowing Hydruka back plates and some other glowing details parts.
Creators Notes:
I'm damn proud of this! It took me quite some time to get everything the right way. I started with the head, which was done pretty fast. The upper torso with upper arms took some time, because I had to pay attention to the moveability of the arms. The lower arms took also some time, but now I'm quite satisfied. The lower torso gave me headaches, because it was too unstable at first, so I just made everything a bit thicker to make it more stable. I really like the legs, they only took me a day, but they came out quite well in my opinion.
Oh yeah, and he's glowing in the dark as seen in the first two pictures. I really love his eyes in the first picture, they look totally psycho xD

Oh, I love this MOC! You used the Gadunka heads beautifully without making him look overly bulky, and the texture is perfect. It'd be nice to see some more glowing pieces on the legs, but their shape totally makes up for that

I originally intended to put some glowing parts on the legs, but then they worked out so well without them that I didn't want to destroy those shapes by forcingg glowing parts on them.

I don't know. When it comes to power and size, than I think (since he absorbed Chiriko), he should be taller.

It is no real fusion in my opinion, he just absorbed his power.
It's like the body has changed but the mind is still the same.

I think this is spot on. By the looks of it you have successfully combined perfect asthetics and movement. I am wholly impressed with this. The extention of the shin is brilliant yet so simple, and the piston attatchment seems to fit, which i might say is hard to achieve. Beutiful work

Yeah, I had no stand for my camera so I needed fix it somehow, because any shaking would make the picture blurry.

getting a tripod DEFINITELY helps or even just stacking things up as a stand for ur camera helps too

I got ALL of the glowing parts through the very few ebay offers I bought. I just looked for parts which I don't have. Sadly I was only able to get one Nocturn, but I don't need more anyways.

Yeah. We always come back to the topic of the ebay offer. I never see those go for just a few dolars over here. By the end of the auction its like $20 or more+shipping.

I think most americans sell their parts over bricklink, because all the good parts are always sold by american or canadian sellers when I search for them. That's why I rarely buy parts there and the reason why I have to look through ebay and the reason why I have to ask people for golden bohrok shields (on bricklink, they're only sold by americans and canadians)

Yeah, we do seem to have the largest market. But we're also two really really big countries. Where as the various European countries are more the size of our states. When you set your market setting to regional, how far does it go? For me, I get the US and Canada. So I may be getting a whole lot more actual regions than you might be...just a though.
Our ebay sells go for more though. I do find a lot of offers on ebay for parts lots, but they star out higher than your offers do. Like I just found an offer that's only going for $1.50, but they're asking $20's shipping. Maybe americans know its worth something to someone. I don't know what it is.
