Well, in this particular case ... and the next one.
They were the ones who won in the little Fanfic contest that I had made.
but if you mean normally. the first step would obviously be, that I like it haha. the other simply happens in the process, a scene that simply speaks to me.
people sometimes recommend stories to me, even though they sometimes ruin the story before they begin, by telling me in detail their favorite part ...
To be honest, I still have a short list waiting, but it's not like I can just shoot them all like a printer hahaha.

not necessarily, but ideally not in the middle of a fight, or just a cliffhanger. finishing the story at the end of the season is enough. When completing an arch or leaving an open ending is valid, it does not have to be conclusive, in case you want to continue working with it.

So for example with Fate Zero it doesn't have to be finished as long as it is finished the season

It is not a bad example. Fate zero opens the doors to others ... even if they did not transmit it in order haha. other more simple examples would be 1 of the 5 seasons of Rwby. or the end of an arch in Fairy tail. In short, the end of an adventure, but not all.

Ah okay cause I myself am a fan fiction writer myself and the contest does give me some curiosity I personally have a RWBY fanfic and a Fate/Zero crossover, and I can tell by your posts that you have a soft spot for both RWBY and the Fate series am I correct?

RWBY Heroic Demon: basically just a retelling of the events of RWBY with my OCs along with some of their own stories of team DMON Iskandar Drakon (He's a dragon faunus, I honestly liked the idea of a mystic faunus and kinda wanted to do my own thing with it) Francesca Merdez (Passionate huntress/gamer), Leonidas Orion (Genius loner and archer) and Naomi Siren the bisexual huntress who loves to tease
Fate/Prime: Retelling the events of the fourth holy grail war however a young master named Elisha Pieta, a young Australian Magus, summoned an eighth servant to help fulfil her dream, her servant a hero from among the stars, The last of the Primes, Optimus Prime, given human form fights alongside Elisha against great heroes and villains from the past and learn more about humans from a new perspective in his new human form
anyway I hope you have a read of them and hopefully you get to enjoy them as much as I have written them

Yeah sorry for any confusion that's on me
Anyway the reason why I decided to make Optimus a servant is because when it comes right down to it, I feel in my core Optimus is the best example of a hero for he has many traits that make a great leader integrity, courage, honour, trustworthiness, dignity, even though he isn't human he has humanity's best qualities. also even though technically he is weaker in his human form he would prove to be a challenge even for Gilgamesh also I set this during Fate/Zero you know where it's more mature with clashing ideologies
