Colored version of my B&W pastel drawing AVATAR: NeytiriColoring done with masking and color balance features in Photoshop CS3

I have a question though, I am also drawing Neytiri but I can't seem to draw her hair correct. I have looked at this over and over but I still can't seem to get it right..any tips???

Yeah, the braids were a little scary at first, but then I figured they were just ordinary braids. What's important though is to add VOLUME to them. Otherwise they would look like ribbons with patterns
Take a look at this [link] it might help
What sucks though is that some of the braids are twisted and are visible sideways...
