Honestly Spring's responses, in my opinion. symbolizes the stigma of trauma victims. It's not something you can simply say "Get better" and it works. Their reactions and triggers require proper care, and to say "Oh I gave them a chance" when they haven't even had the time to treat themselves is just naive. Is Erik in the wrong for overreacting? Yes, but to only give him chances doesn't resolve the issue, it ignores it.
I bet Cutey could sweep the Elite Four no prob with guns like those! Pow-Pow!

I feel like Erik would be better just to focus on himself than try to work anything out with Spring. What matters more than anything for people who suffer as much stress and anxiety as Erik does is they gain peace of mind. If he doesn't, all that stress and anxiety is going to leave permanent damage on his heart and mind at some point.
As for Spring, I just hope she becomes less childish and more understanding at some point. because this petty spitefulness helps no one, and it makes her look bad. And not only that, Alex needs everyone on the same page, because things are only going to get tougher for her from here on. One mistake and things can go really bad really fast.

I'll be quite frank, Spring is better than to late bitterness and spite overwhelm her like this. To be equal, Erik has screwed up and her reason is rectified but to allow her self to degrade into hatred; it is not a good thing. This type of decorum is not only childish but just sinister. It will make you do atrocious deeds and just make you a terrible individual if you allow yourself to commit said deeds. Deeds that soon become remorse. so I am going to ask you. Is this how you want this to end? Additionally, you cannot deny that you and Erik did a few happy moments. Right?
