Continuing to draw my friends in the style of Soviet cartoons, I could not help but pass by Boris Stepantsev, one of my favorite animation directors.

Boris Stepantsev (1929 - 1983) - Soviet animation director. Initially, he worked in tandem with Yevgeny Raikovsky as a director of comedy cartoons, but soon became the main lyricist and romantic of animation in the USSR.
I did not disdain to experiment. His portfolio includes the most beloved and respected cartoons from childhood and adolescence: the dilogy "Kid and Carlson on the Roof" (Малыш и Карлсон, 2 episodes, 1968-1970), the trilogy about the correspondent Murzilka (Приключения Мурзилки, 3 episodes, 1956-1960), "Peter and Little Red Riding Hood" (Петя и Красная Шапочка, 1958), "Vovka in the Far Away Kingdom" (Вовка в Тридевятом Царстве, 1965), "Cockerel and Paints" (Петух и Краски, 1964)," The Nutcracker" (Щелкунчик, 1973), etc.
