Description
This is the 2nd mud turtle I caught today. Smaller than the other one. And in a different place. It was practically on the ground rather than the water. I stepped into an inch of water near the tall grass (as you see in the background) and he was right next to my foot! Also a male turtle, as the underside of his shell in concave rather than convex like females.
