I really like this. Shooting at acute angles adds interest and perspective. I go through a lot of photography galleries and it is surprising how few utilize this technique. Commercial Model Photographers are all about angles. Often, this technique offers greater connection to the observer, like they are siting on the curb looking up at you.
The compositional use of a distressed industrial look helps to set the attitude of the shotβurban, edgy. This would make a good fashion shot.
Technical values: Color balance and color range are good. Great composition, with good focus and fine detail. The dynamic range is pushed too far for commercial viability. If this was achieved in post-processing, I would recommend going back to the original, isolating problem highlights and shadows, then adjusting DR to optimal, to achieve an edgy look to the skin tones.
When Dynamic Range is pushed too far, flesh tones become more pasty looking and loose detail. The idea is to get the edgy look without loosing the flesh tones. Pushing the DR too far also creates blowout and burnout, which is excessive here.
Very good work.
