I'd like to stop counting for a while.
The days just slip and slideLike they always did
The trouble is my head
Won't let me forget

I really like this clock! Reminds me of one my grandmother used to have next to her bedside. Great use of the colors in the bench and background it give the clock just the right amount of color to pop!

I can't actually write a critique, since I don't have a premium membership, so I'll just put my thoughts down here. First I'd like to say that this is a fascinating piece. You chose a title that really makes the viewer think, rather than just taking the piece at face value. To me though, the title evokes depressing feelings, while the piece seems more light-hearted (maybe because of the colors?), so there's a little conflict as to what emotion you're trying to portray.
Visually, the piece is stunning. I especially like the deep green color of the bench, which fits very well with the leaves in the background. The clock looks great with the bench, but the background seems a little out of place. Or maybe it's the clock that's out of place, which is probably what you were going for anyway. The only potential flaw I find is the colors of the clock. Although the gold frame is reflected back in the golden/green leaves, none of the other colors (blues, pinks, orange) exist anywhere else other than the clock. Having some of these colors reflected elsewhere might give the piece more balance and make the clock appear more natural. This is the only thing I might change about it, but it's not necessary. I'd love to see how this piece might look with different clocks or watches.
