I love those fake corocoro magazine leaks for upcoming Pokémon games, but after it’s confirmed fake people forget all about those little critters.

Fake or not, I like their designs. Especially the ferret one, Somnignon, that is a S+ tier best friend right there and had little me PSYCHED for Pokémon X and Y.

Credit to the original designers- I haven't used DA in centuries so I'm not sure if the old :icon-then-the-name: thing still works.

and a whole team put a ton of work and effort to create the grass goat, water lizard, and a little fire-bear starter and to make their leak look real af so ultra kudos

did the owl, kitten and seal at the bottom, I'm absolutely in love with that seal.

twitter.com/50shadesofHelio designed the platypus, which is apparently named Platypet and was legally adopted for usage in a game heavily inspired by Pokemon and if that's not a sign of just how amazing that little critter is then I don't know what is. I'm also inclined to say that they designed the grass lemur and the fire rabbit, but I can't find anything on their twitter or anywhere specifically stating that so I don't know if it was a group effort but for now let's just say that specific batch of starters are great friends who met through a mutual friend most likely.

No word on the tiger and parrot. The hunt goes on!

(Also if any of those original artists are pissed that I went and did this- let me know, I'll shut the whole thing down you have my word)
