yeah you do need to start with halo then go to halo 2 then halo 3 then if you want halo 3 odst, then go to reach, reach is actually the beginning of everything.

b/c honestly you have to play the first halo game that game out called halo: combat evolved, you will see how the start starts then play reach at the end and see the ending of the game is first part of the halo.

well 2 and 3 shows how the fight against the covernat race was won over. its really interesting, im sure you play halo your want to play halo 2 cause of the cliff hanger.
