In this life I've loved and hoped, but none did ever come true. I feel so weak and nothing seems to bring me any joy. Nothing is real, not for me, only fake aspirations and crumbling dreams wherever I look.Related content

This is a very beautiful and emotional piece that speaks volumes of your plight, and yet it does the same for your courage. To be able to put your emotions on display is something I doubt to ever be able to accomplish. So thank you.

This photo speaks volumes. And the first 3 people who commented are ignorant assholes who know nothing of the struggles that lead people to cut. Those of us who do this KNOW we are not alone. We KNOW there are others that share similar pain. We KNOW that cutting won't solve the problem or help in the long run. But you do it. To not feel so numb. Because if you feel pain, at least you know you're alive.
People dealing with this depression, this darkness that seems to consume your soul . . .you don't chose to feel this way any more than a person would chose to have diabetes or heart disease.
And I'm sorry - I just truly can't stand empty, ignorant comments from people who know nothing of what goes on but still want to share their unhelpful opinions.
I congratulate you on showing your scars - every one of them beautiful. I'm too scared to show mine.

I don't mean to be rude, but it's disrespectful to say so. He is beautiful with or without battle scars. In a way cutting does help those inflicted with such internal pain they know no way to let it out besides this. He is not ugly because of his scars -- in fact, he is more beautiful all because of it. Cutting isn't the answer, but it certainly does not make people ugly, ruined, or broken. Thank you.
