not bringing religion into anything
but my faith leads me to believe that we do walk among angels
protectors that help us get by
I don't believe we can do it alone
at this particular time our angel chooses to spread her wings
but we live in modern times
the 21st century
its as though we are seeing a candid view when she thinks she's is unnoticed
letting her wings out for only a moment to stretch
then she will confine them again and join the world in the hustle bustle lives we create for ourselves

And I am not losing the sight of the wings here... ... It just works.. I think it is a powerful image. Brave of you too. Oh sure there are radicals taking this piss out of heirarchy and being a lot more extreme. But what you do is so strong in being simple that so called masters of shock art could take a few lessons from you.

Awesome... honest.. Look the figure is just bang on.. There is that twist , that weight on one hip that women can do that is soooo cute.
The simplicity hides the real skill of your draughtsmanship.
It sexual and provocative but doesn't belittle the subject. It isn't art whoring...
If I lose the train of thought you implied there is always something else triggered by the image. Something personal usually and the fact that it can create such a response means the painting has worked.
Your chice of colours just works. I don't pretend to understand colour theory but I am sure you naturally cover most of it in your work.
