So for a while i wanted to try and give them a redesign of my own, i once did it on paper but i kinda 100% hated the color choices so here! these kinda turned out how i wanted them to turn out

some notes:

twilight- literal colors of twilight (the time of the day), with some white because why not, cutiemark being a star portraying a constelation.
in the sketch she was supposed to have glasses but i forgot to put them in the lineart D:

rainbow dash - mane is the same except shorter because i think that fits her more, coat being white to similate a cloud, also big ass wings and smol body just because y e s. (also i think faster flyers have bigger wings, kinda like scotaloo couldnt fly cause her wings where to small, at least in her grown up version they are still small af)

applejack - tried to give her more unsaturated-earthy colors, and also spots on coat because earth pony. also, eyebrows are t h i c c and that makes her look cute c:

rarity- lmao no explanation just kinda felt like using those colors and stuff, but also different horn because i think rarity fits more in those type of unicorns (not really know what they are called)

pinkie pie- very similar to her original design, just adding more complementary colors because as happy as she always have been her design was very... bland i guess. also, pegasus because ignoring fluttershy´s great contributions to her personality and story where some events or things happen because she is a pegasus, (same with pinkie, like her rock farmer family which is very earth pony like) i feel that pinkie portrays more the personality of a pegasus and flutter more of an earth pony.

fluttershy- gave her more nature like colors, with pink as complementary because it looked nice. bunny as a cutiemark just because. also just kinda realized writing this notes that her not having wings means she cant do things/communicate as well with taller animals or birds,,, sooooooo yeeeaaaa thats my bad,,,,,, still really like what i came up for her design

i still think/know that mlp´s original designs are 100% cute and original, just wanted to try this for myself.
