It's got nothing to do with Assassin's creed. Oomi (the artist) just REALLY likes the doctor masks from this era, and has OCs who wear them.

Um, that kind of mask is a very old design. They used to stuff the 'beak' with herbs. They thought it would help prevent them getting the illness while they worked.

I know... I'm a fan of renaissance and medecine by the same way, it was really clever from the doctor of this time, it in fact the first gaz mask ever created, I just said in my last comment that it was inspired from assassin's creed serie, where a psycho doctor kill people in the streets

Actually, the artist has argued several times that they didn't design this after the assassin's creed" and didn't mean for it to be the same. It's a happy coincidence that people pin to it too many times, but, yeah, I see where it takes away from the idea. Too bad. I thought it looked cool.

No, Medico wasn't insipred by Malfatto:

So, it's not the most original concept, I admit, but I think it suited him, and I wanted to have a mad doctor character too.
So PLEASE stop comparing Medico with other characters. It's annoying.''
