In the end, this reminded me of a Jim Henson creature as interpreted by Tim Burton

I think the primary reason I can't do this aside from skill/practice is that with this picture, I would think of it, and work out the function of every little thing in this piece, and then put it all in the 18+page description, on top of the meaning and everything in it and why I did it.
