Oooh; there's a real humanness to this piece that is difficult to capture in portraits, and it shows through fantastically. I think it's in her eyes
and lips. The rendering on her general facial features tells a lot, but her eyes reveal a sort of withdrawn feeling somewhere.
Her hair is amazing, too; you certainly know the female form inside and out. Overall, a gorgeous and stunning portrait.
