Pokemon: Tobias Is Arrested, Yo

Tobias, winner of the Lily of the Valley Conference, better known simply as the Shinnoh League, calmly walked down the hallway leading out of the stadium with his trophy. He looked rather pleased with himself.

But after he looked at himself in the reflection of his trophy and laughed at himself, he found his way blocked by a police officer on both ends of the hallway.

Except, they appeared to have their index and middle fingers pointing outwards as they jabbed them down in the air in time with a particular beat. Shaking their heads forwards and back in time with the same melody.

"Yo! Tobias! Yer under arrest yo!" Said one of the cops, who looked surprisingly identical to each other, then again, so did the Joys and Jennies.

Tobias didn't looked amused. "May I ask what exactly I'm under arrest for officer?"

"Yo! Don't joke yo! Legendary Pokemon are banned from competitive play and that since you earned all your badges with a Legendary, they're being confiscated and you'll have to start over."

"If that's so.... shouldn't I have been informed when I registered with my team? Or when I challenged the gym leaders? Doesn't it also mean the Gym Leaders are also at fault for giving me the Badges in the first place if that was so? Or the person at the desk who legally registered me? And wasn't it therefore rather irresponsible to allow my team to continue through the entire tournament to the end?"

For some odd reason, the officers bent their legs sideways, and waved their arms like they were noodles, wagging their rears still in time with their theme music.

"YO! DON'T YA DARE TRYIN' TO MUDDY THE WATERS YO! THAT'S JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG! Yer gettin' stripped of the championship and banned from competing for using Legendaries. And Ah bet they're genetically enhanced, ya know, clones! Which happens to be against the law too yo! Ah bet that means ya got ties to team Galaxy! Yer goin' to jail yo!"

Tobias rolled his eyes. "... It's Team Rocket that did illegal cloning experiments you idiot."

"YO! YER ASKIN' FOR IT YO! YER JUST LUCKY WE'RE NOT LOSERS LIKE YOU YO! And how would you know that yo!? Yer part of 'em?!"

Tobias growled. "I am not associated with those filth! HOW DARE YOU?!"

Then the officer began to pumps their arms, thrusting their hips forward as they danced around Tobias as their theme song took on a more intense pitch.

"HOW DARE YA TALK LIKE THAT TO US YO! Yer the criminal here!"

"And you made Ash Ketchum lose the Lily of the Valley Conference, yo!"

Tobias' face went blank. "Wha-?"

"Ash Ketchum is already the coolest and most determined trainer there is! If not for your illegal pokemon you illegal trainer getting in his way, he'd have won!"

"... Look, Ash is an experienced trainer, his bond with his pokemon is undeniable and surpasses that of the majority of trainers, he has will, drive, and think creativity when he wants to. And he defeated two of my legendaries and befriended more than many have meet... He's what inspired me to enter the Shinnoh League with my fellows to begin with. But he really needs to stop handicapping himself by using only Pokemon he captures in that particular region he's competing and his Pikachu needs to grow-up and evolve already. But he took his loss much better than you are, and it was his loss."

"WHATEVER YO! You're going to jail yo!"

"May I ask where Officer Jenny is?"

"Yo! Officer Jenny doesn't need to waste her time with the likes of you, yo!"

"I think that we're a little outside your jurisdiction boys."

"Now you're using the royal 'we' now, yo? Dang yer arrogant! First night in jail will take that out of ya, yo!"

Tobias sighed. "I actually didn't want to do this. The others feel I should just play along, but a god does have his pride."

"A god?! And I when I thought you couldn't get anymore arrogant, yo! Now you're under arrest!"

The handcuffs slapped onto Tobias' wrists. And then fell through, like he wasn't even there.

Tobias lips didn't move, but they heard his voice in a dark tone say, "... Okay, that's enough."

Tobias turned to shadow and smoke, the trophy hit the ground with a clang.

The six pokeballs also hit the floor, the only thing of Tobias that had actually been real.

They popped open, and out of each came a legendary pokemon.

Latias.
Latios.
Shaymin in her ground forme.
Cresselia.
Darkrai.
.... and Phione.

The two officer's theme music came to a dead stop. They paused in mid-motion. Their jaws dropped from their faces. They silently stared at the six gods before them.

"I know what you're thinking," Said Shaymin, "Why is Phione on our team? Well, the truth is Mew wanted to play, but she decided to force, er, spend teatime with MewTwo instead."

"And Heatran decided to enter on his own with a group of non-legendaries purely acting as bench warmers (might be way he didn't get past the second round)," Added in Latios. "So we needed a last minute replacement."

Phione huffed and crossed his fins.

= 'Fleeing Heroes' - Lunar 2 Eternal Blue =

The two police officers screamed like little girls at the top of their lungs, wet their pants, and ran right into each other bumping their heads, turned and ran away screaming waving their arms above their heads.

'You enjoyed that far too much,' Cresselia said telepathically.

Darkrai huffed. "I'm not having my good day ruined by a couple of idiots. If they want to take my, I mean our trophy from us, they're going to have do a lot better than that." Darkrai took hold of the trophy and polished out the rough spot from the fall. "I didn't even get to show it to Alice yet."

'It was FUN competing in a league for once!' Latias laughed. 'I'm just sorry I didn't get a chance to battle with Ash, then again, maybe it was better Latios did. I don't think I could fight at my all against my friends.'

'If you really respect them, then you would fight using your all,' Latios told his sister. 'You wouldn't want Ash to think he won because someone just held back would you?'

'I guess not.'

'Besides, you had to hold 'Tobias' together after Darkrai got knocked out.'

Darkrai shrugged. "I lost fair and square. I'm legendary enough to admit it."

'Too bad we had to reveal ourselves like that,' Latias lamented.

'We registered for the League at Professor Rowan's lab, we beat eight Shinnoh Gym Leaders, we filled out all our paperwork, and there's no law against entering using an alias, or against a Pokemon entering thenselves. I am NOT having all our hard work negated because of some bitter and self-important humans.' Darkrai Replied.

'Now now Darkrai, I'm sure they thought they were just doing their duty. The leagues mean so much to them,' Cresselia said.

Phione then shouted, "I want ice cream!"

Shaymin, and the dragons silently shook their heads at having ice-cream.

Cresselia didn't notice, or pretended not to and said, 'Oh I remember a lovely cafe in Alto Mare! Hold on everyone!' She teleported the group of legendaries away.

A few minutes later, the two cops came back shouting, "YO! LEGENDARIES! SIX OF THEM! YO! TOBIAS IS A HOLOGRAM OF A NIGHTMARE DEMON YO!"

Officer Jenny took one look at the empty hallway and rolled her eyes.
