Description This wonderful piece of animation was created by , who bought this battle between Senya and two of her trooper foes to life!  For my part in the collaboration, I did a few of the key frame drawings and drew the background image.  PaddleTone drew and coloured all the animation frames, worked out the timing for all of the actions, and blended everything into one smooth and seamless piece of animation! Hope you all love it as much as I do!

Hey there!


Let me add a little more clarity from my end.


Alexi did the original storyboarding (about 20 frames) and background.


Afterwards, I set up the animating framework including positioning key frames and drawing in-between frames (drawing 147 frames, altogether 258 frames at 30 frames per second). I used 30 frames per second (fps) because I wanted to experiment.


Finally, it was a matter of adding colors, editing and adding the music, before finally compositing and editing video. Done!

That makes tons of sense. You guys make a great team! I've followed Alexi forever, but this is my first time to see your work. Bravo.
Maybe some time after the world gets back to normal (?) I could commission an animation.
I would love to.

I only drew a few frames, perhaps ten or twenty, as a basic reference. PaddleTone figured out the timing of the action sequence, and then drew all 120 (or so) of the animation frames.
