Temperament: Taipan is aptly name, as he harbors a spirit some consider as dangerous as his namesake. Foal from stallion Thunderdrome, Taipan is no short of ability; however, combining his sire's headstrong attitude and his dam's, of which no one is quite sure who she is, pride, Taipan is quite a handful to work with. Breaking him in alone took longer than most horses and led to a delay in his training. However, the prideful stallion did not fall far behind in his training and took to racing splendidly. When timed, his speeds were well over the average. The only problem resulting from the headstrong horse was his aggressive and combative attitude to other horses. It seems as if the Taipan preferred to stick close to his competitors and attempt to body slam them, which ultimately resulted in lower placings in races. His trainer, Talia, works endlessly to improve this and has ultimately reached some positive results, yet the stallion's future in racing is largely dependent upon his aggressive attitude and desire to dominate. Hopefully that attitude can be turned into dominating in ranking, rather than in hierarchy.

Information: Taipan is an insanely proud stallion that opposes nearly any contact of that besides mares in heat, Talia, and his faithful cat companions. Though not an unusual practice to pair race horses with companions to ease nerves and relax the horses, it's been a bit odd to see such a spirited stallion carry and curl up with cats. His stable hands often wonder if his cat companions multiply by themselves or that the stallion somehow attracts them. Either way, no one dares take his furry companions away for fear of Taipan being unmanageable. Hopes for his racing abilities hold high, especially with the stables constant work to improve his aggression.
Taipan is also the most prissy of horse that you'd ever meet. The stallion has been known to refuse to enter his stall unless bedding is completely new and changed, his food restocked, and of course, a furry cat waiting for him. Dealing with the horse, except for the care of Talia and the few he recognizes, is near impossible and most often results in injury. If his racing career fails, the stable still desires his breeding, though albeit to a very gentle mare.
