Je voulais la garder pour la Japan Expo, mais je vais quand même la poster en preview basse def. La mise de couleur des pages de garde du tome 8 de Weëna.I wanted to keep it for Japan Expo but I will still post a low resolution preview of it. This is the watercolor version of the flyleaves of Weena 8

Actually, I don't usually sell posters with online sale, only smaller prints ( a4 or a5 )as the shipping could be much much more expensive than the poster itself. We don't have good package for posters of big originals. For big sizes I send them in boxes designed for bottles and they are expensive. Would you still be interested? :/

J'étais peu emballée par la mise en couleur des tout premiers Weëna. Mais si la prochaine série ressemble à la fameuse planche aquarelle qui avait été postée, je ne passerai pas à côté ! 
C'est peut-être qu'une impression, mais j'ai la sensation que le Noor est un peu court sur pattes sur cette illustration...

Aah, il y a tout plein de gens qui sont passés à côté de Weëna à cause des couleurs des tout premiers. Autant j'ai fait des études de dessin, autant pour les couleurs, je suis complètement autodidacte et les premiers Weëna ont été mes tout premiers travaux de couleurs. J'ai appris avec eux, et d'ailleurs, j'ai trouvé ça si dur que par la suite, j'ai abandonné et ma coloriste a pris le relais. Donc si les premiers tomes sont étranges, se sont mes erreurs de débutante.
Je suis heureuse que tu sois intéressée pour suivre Noor, qui sera évidemment dans la même veine que la planche postée l'année dernière.
Quant à Noor court sur pattes, je pense que c'est une impression. Je l'ai dessiné à poil sur le rough, comme je fais souvent pour ne pas trop foirer l'anatomie des persos. Mais une amie couturière m'a expliqué que quand une robe, jupe, tissus, tombait sous le genou en laissant apparaitre un bout de mollet, cela pouvait donner une impression de "jambes courtes".

Pour ce qui est des couleurs de Weëna, il me semblait bien que cela devait être les débuts (toutefois je me régale des dessins noir et blanc de tes portfolios). Et je suis admirative de voir les progrès sur toutes ces belles aquarelles, dont je préfère la texture par rapport à une colorisation photoshop. Ca va dépendre de comment c'est traité en fait.
Par contre je suis déçue de ne pas pouvoir aller à la Japex cette année pour en voir plus

Right now, it looks like she's staring into thin air somewhere above his head.
Same for the woman seated to the left (in her lover's lap), as well as the three standing to the right.
I'm guessing they're meant to look at the centred couple, but their eyes gaze into the air above their heads.

I'm looking for a talented artist to create a proto-type comic book for the saga that I have written. It is an episodic action based sci-fi thriller named "Human." The story has some similarities with Sin City and Battle Angel Alita, so I am looking for something with that sort of a feel. The scripts all have copyrights and are registered with the screenwriters guild, so I am comfortable emailing you the scripts. I have the first several episodes of the series written already, and without boasting, they are quite strong.
The proto-type will be done in black and white... so ink. It's inexpensive, quick, and easiest without color. I am willing to pay a minimum of $500 for the project and possibly more depending upon your professional experience. I am only expecting about 20-30 pages worth of work. Please note that I am not offering ownership rights to the story that I have written. You will receive paid compensation and be given full credit for your work. However, if you are an accredited and established artist with proven connections into the comic and or television industry I would be willing to negotiate ownership rights... otherwise, I'd prefer to just pay you cash if that's okay
Please email me with your contact info and samples of your portfolio. If I like what I see, I will contact you back with the script and will ask you to do a 1 minute sketch of 4 or 5 of the characters, just to see if we're on the same page with the story and characters. I prefer working with somebody in locally and in person, but am open to working over the internet if it is with the right person.

Déjà j'étais amoureuse du dessin noir et blanc et quand tu avais parlé de le mettre en couleur à l'aquarelle peut être j'avais rêver et là je suis aux anges *w*
Les jeux de lumières et d'ombres sont à couper le souffle, ainsi que la texture des troncs et des feuillages .... et bien sur les motifs des tenues comme toujours !!

Et j'adorerai voir l'original sur ton stand aussi (bien que je me doute bien que tu ne compte pas le vendre -non no j'ai pas du tout lu les autres commentaires c'est pas vrai d'abord je suis innocente !! -).
