To the contest participants of last winter, first of all, sorry for being that slow! But the watercolor of the first print is finished! ^__^As you can see, the ' girls only ' print is done, it was quite a challenge and stayed as a work in progress for months. The next one is the Weëna & Morckoor themed and as I am between books and preparing Japan Expo, watercoloring like crazy, it shouldn't take as look.
As soon as I have the second watercolor ready, I will note every one of you who participated about the high resolution file that will be available!

Somptueuse illustration dotée d'une riche palette de couleurs.
Au milieu, avec son voile et les fleurs blanches, Weëna a un air virginal et quel regard tu lui as fait : doux et pénétrant à la fois. J'aime aussi la façon dont elle pose ses mains sur les épaules d'Opéra. C'est un geste de confiance absolue et d'amitié profonde. Le bijou sur la tête d'Olja est splendide. Je note que Brunillia a piqué l'écharpe de Morckoor pour orner ses propres cheveux ^o^ Et je suis très heureuse de voir la généreuse Yeleëna dans ce groupe, avec sa chevelure si imposante !

Je suis toujours très impressionnée par ta maîtrise de l'aquarelle, c'est vraiment superbe !

Beautiful colours and beautiful group. The face of the woman on the right bottom (the one with the blue dress) and of the one behind here (the dark skinned woman) have something strange, but the whole group is wonderful. I love especially the one on the upperside, on the left, and the one in the middle. Their colouring is breathtaking, and their expressions lovely.

haha, even with 13 published books behind me, I know I always need to learn more, a lifetime is not enough for anyone to be perfect.
As for the likeness of my faces, people will find it too similar, others will find differences, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
But I am proud AND learning!
