Okay so...got a new tablet today and decided to draw the most depressing picture of Roman Torchwick to ever grace the internet.
In short, my headcanon for seven year old Roman is a dirty, scrawny, and slightly malnourished orphan boy. Little does anyone know how ambitious this tiny person is.

A few more detailed headcanons:

-Roman was orphaned at the age of seven. His parents were killed by the lackey of a loan shark in his presence.

-Roman's parents were negligent. He was an only child and a mistake.

-After killing his parents, the loan shark's lackey drove Roman to the clear other side of Vale's slum and left him there to die. This is where Roman met Junior and a large group of orphans.

-After his parent's passing, Roman was raised by Junior, who, despite only being five years his senior and almost as poor, did his best to provide shelter, food, and clothes to Roman

-Roman and Junior have a blood pact binding them together, but by Roman's request they do not refer to each other as brothers

-Many of the other members of Roman and Junior's orphan group are still in contact with them--some work for one of the two, some found decent jobs in Vale and others moved to the other kingdoms to make a name for themselves--but more than half of their group succumbed to death from drug overdose, drive bys or suicide during adolescence.

-Roman has not cried since he was seven years old, and he didn't cry because of his parents' death.
