April apparently is the "sakura" time where people get drunk and look at the pretty pink flower petals, known as Hanami which means "flower viewing"

One of my characters is Japanese so I've been reading up on some of this stuff, and dango is a kind of snack type of thing from what I can tell. She has made some for Night Girl and her sisters, on each skewer there's one dango ball for Sleep, Day, Night and Death.
