Description
All About AliceIn a barrow boy cap
and britches lacking patches
There's something about her
Which closely matches
A hurly burly spirit
Cartwheeling through a scene
Of summer high Grasses
Where moon moths dream
And sun diamond beaches
Laughing in the sun
Where salt tossed breezes
Smile caressing everyone
When Alice was a soul beam
Flitting round the place
She fancied a reflection
In a rock pool
Deep in space
And stole away a pretty veil
When mischief was a place
'Twas a cloak of fallen empires
Twitching with great power
Itching to cause mayhem
And destroy the Alice Flower.
The Wingtips of great angels
Formed a circle round
And Alice was protected
But very neatly drowned
In sparks of Angel fury
And swirls of blinding light
Few have lived to tell the tale
When angel rage for right
If Alice seems a little fey
And has a healing touch
Or walks into your dreams to help
Don't worry over much
The power when arch angels war
Would light the universe
I think she's turned very well
Thing could have been much worse
