Happy Lunar New Year!This year is the year of the water rabbit and I dove head first into this design haha. I spent an entire day researching Chinese symbolism so I could include appropriate details and not mess up any messaging in the design 😅💦
The flower espeically was a ton of word and most of its stitching was drawn individually by hand to get the look right. I think it came out really cute though so I'm really happy >w< The base is a fluffy swirl minky with embroidered details. The design is meant to be a symbol of well wishes and good fortune for the year to come. May you always have plenty!
