Meh, resubmit.This is the 3rd render of this beast.
Took me about 4 days from the idea to the result.. Don't think it's too bad..

Great effort on that, the sky I think could do with some blue up there imho - looks odd to be dark with so much light still about.
The snow, great to see it so fluffy, but the 'bits' on top? what is that?
It is a good scene in general, well done.

I like this render a lot, though I think at some points it the textures resemble concrete . Great job on the sky and all, really like it!!!

Always good to have something warm where it is cold
I happen to like the colors, someone said variation in the snow, that might be cute.

I don't know about the terrain, seems a little unnatural, the textures are sublime, very cool it's like looking at at least 4 feet of snow I want to go trapse around in it (or at least break out a snow machine). And the sky.. whoa I'd be at it for weeks trying to make a sky like that. If you say it "kind of happened" i'll scream and pull out my hair. As usual, very lovely render.

i think u should make the sun shine a more bluish color to make the scene look colder

Who cares if it doesnt look cold?! THIS IS GREAT! The only problem with this picture is that the world seems to "end" in the background. Other than that, this is awesome.

hmmm id lost teh goldness of this, as i dont think gold sunlight compliments snow scenes very well, the colour reminds me of street lamps and doesnt give the impression of coldness. try making it white, but apart from that its all nice.
