I'm really not sure where this came from. Again, I wanted to give myself a bit of a challenge when it comes to posing the models, and this is what came out of it. I know it's a bit drastic but I felt like doing something dramatic after all the lovey-dovey stuff.
It was hard for me to put Nathan Drake in that situation because I love him to pieces and seeing him dead is rather upsetting. But no worries, Lara will somehow find a way to bring him back to life. 
And if anyone knows a good method to draw tears over 3D models, please let me know.

Psh, still a wonderful piece. Also, the tears looked fine. Very similar to the game's rain effects.

As for the tears, I simply used a very small white brush with a low opacity on a separate layer, then I turned the layer mode to "Overlay". I tried a lot of different things prior to that but this proved to be the only technique that really worked, mostly because the face of the model is so small.
